Ending Hunger
Starts With You
We provide nutritious food when it’s needed most.
Nourish Madagascar runs daily school meals through the February–May hunger season, when the rice is standing green in the fields and cannot yet be eaten. In 2026 we served 2,077 children at twelve partner schools around Lake Alaotra, in the Alaotra-Mangoro region of Madagascar.
Parents plan, shop for and cook every meal themselves — more than 1,000 of them trained each season, supported by fifteen Malagasy staff and a committee elected by each village. Alongside the meals we fund wells, toilets and handwashing stations at every partner school, and seed and training for 153 farmers in the same villages.
