2026: Measuring What Matters
2,077 children served. For the first time, every child is weighed and measured at the start and end of the season — an average 2-pound weight gain and 1–2 inch height increase. The Governor of Alaotra sends an official letter recognizing the program's impact.

2025: Focus on Locally Grown Food
2,000 children served. 153 local growers complete training for the Growers Program, and Chef Rolland leads the first culinary training, shared with more than 1,000 parents.

2024: Focus on Sanitation and Expansion Across the Lake
Operations expand to the east, west, and southern shores of Lake Alaotra serving 1,400 children. Dr. Alain Rambolamanana joins as medical advisor, sharpening the program's approach to sanitation and nutrition.

2023: Becoming a 501(c)(3)
Nourish Madagascar becomes a registered 501(c)(3), thanks to pro bono legal support from BBK Law. Spring 2023 served 700+ students across three school committees in Amborompotsy — nearly 10 times the program's earlier impact.

2022: Momentum Builds
Serving 300 children 12,600 meals. Word of the program's impact spreads to neighboring villages ahead of a major milestone year.

2021: Expanding Coverage
Modest, deliberate growth as the community-led model proves itself by expanding to server 120 children over 5,000 meals.

2020: Managing Covid
Despite the challenges, the program continues at its original village serving 100 children 4,200 meals while the model is refined for growth.

2019: Our First Season
Nourish Madagascar begins with a single partner village, serving 100 children home-cooked meals during the February–May lean season.
